Jurchen language
The Jurchen language is a now-extinct Tungusic language that was spoken by the Jurchen people in northeastern China. It was primarily used during the Jin dynasty (1115–1234) and is known for its unique script, which was derived from the Khitan script.
Jurchen is significant for its historical role in the formation of the Jin dynasty and its influence on the Manchu language. Although it is no longer spoken, Jurchen remains an important subject of study for linguists and historians interested in the cultural and political dynamics of ancient East Asia.
