June Pointer
June Pointer was an American singer and a member of the famous music group, The Pointer Sisters. Born on November 30, 1953, in Oakland, California, she was known for her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence. Throughout her career, June contributed to many of the group's hits, including "I'm So Excited" and "Jump (For My Love)." The Pointer Sisters earned multiple Grammy Awards and were celebrated for their innovative sound and energetic performances. June Pointer passed away on April 11, 2020.
