Homonym: Jove (Jupiter)
Jove is another name for Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. It is a gas giant, primarily composed of hydrogen and helium, and is known for its Great Red Spot, a massive storm larger than Earth. Jove has a strong magnetic field and at least 79 known moons, including the four largest, called the Galilean moons.
In Roman mythology, Jove is the king of the gods and the god of sky and thunder. He is equivalent to the Greek god Zeus. Jove is often depicted wielding a lightning bolt and is associated with law, order, and justice in ancient Roman culture.
