Jove (Jupiter)
Jove, also known as Jupiter, is the largest planet in our solar system. It is a gas giant, primarily composed of hydrogen and helium, and has a thick atmosphere with colorful bands of clouds. Jove is famous for its Great Red Spot, a massive storm that has been raging for centuries.
Jove has a strong magnetic field and at least 79 known moons, including the four largest, called the Galilean moons: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. These moons are of great interest to scientists, especially Europa, which may have a subsurface ocean that could support life.
