John Wain
John Wain was a British author and poet, born on March 14, 1925, in Stoke-on-Trent, England. He was a prominent member of the Movement, a group of writers known for their focus on realism and everyday life. Wain's works often explore themes of identity and human experience, and he is best known for his novels, essays, and poetry.
In addition to his literary contributions, Wain was also an accomplished academic. He taught at various universities, including Oxford University, where he influenced many students.
