Job's Syndrome
Job's Syndrome, also known as Hyper-IgE Syndrome, is a rare immunodeficiency disorder characterized by high levels of Immunoglobulin E (IgE) in the blood. Individuals with this condition often experience recurrent skin infections, lung infections, and allergies due to their weakened immune system.
The syndrome is caused by mutations in the STAT3 gene, which plays a crucial role in immune function. Symptoms may include eczema, dental issues, and bone abnormalities. Early diagnosis and management are essential to improve the quality of life for those affected by Job's Syndrome.
