Joaquín Gallegos Lara
Joaquín Gallegos Lara was an Ecuadorian writer and political activist born on July 15, 1911, in the city of Guayaquil. He is best known for his novel "Los perros hambrientos," which reflects the social struggles and injustices faced by the working class in Ecuador during the mid-20th century.
