Ji Fa
Ji Fa was a prominent figure in ancient Chinese history, known for founding the Zhou Dynasty. He was the son of King Wen and played a crucial role in overthrowing the Shang Dynasty, which was marked by tyranny and corruption.
After defeating the Shang, Ji Fa became the first king of the Zhou, taking the throne as King Wu. His reign is noted for establishing the feudal system and promoting the idea of the "Mandate of Heaven," which justified the ruler's authority based on their virtue and ability to govern justly.
