Jewish faith
The Jewish faith, also known as Judaism, is one of the oldest monotheistic religions, centered on the belief in one God. It is based on the teachings of the Torah, which is the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. Jewish practices include observing the Sabbath, celebrating religious festivals, and following dietary laws known as kashrut.
Central to Judaism is the concept of a covenant, or agreement, between God and the Jewish people, which emphasizes ethical behavior and social justice. The faith is rich in traditions, rituals, and texts, including the Talmud, which provides interpretations and discussions of the Torah's laws and teachings.
