Jewish Poles
"Jewish Poles" refers to individuals of Jewish heritage who are from or have roots in Poland. Historically, Poland had one of the largest Jewish communities in Europe, with vibrant cultural, religious, and social life. This community faced significant challenges, especially during the Holocaust, when millions of Polish Jews were murdered.
Today, the term can also refer to the descendants of these Jewish communities who may still identify with their Polish heritage. In recent years, there has been a revival of interest in Jewish culture in Poland, including festivals, educational programs, and efforts to preserve historical sites related to Jewish history.
