Jasper Tudor
Jasper Tudor was a prominent Welsh nobleman born around 1431. He was the son of Owen Tudor and Catherine of Valois, the widow of King Henry V of England. Jasper played a significant role during the Wars of the Roses, a series of civil wars for control of the English throne.
As a loyal supporter of his nephew, Henry Tudor (later King Henry VII), Jasper helped him secure the crown after the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. Following this victory, Jasper was rewarded with titles and lands, becoming the Duke of Bedford. He remained influential in the Tudor court until his death in 1495.
