Japanese Military
The Japanese Military, officially known as the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF), was established in 1954. It consists of three branches: the Ground Self-Defense Force (GSDF), the Maritime Self-Defense Force (MSDF), and the Air Self-Defense Force (ASDF). The JSDF is primarily focused on national defense and disaster response, operating under a pacifist constitution that limits its military capabilities.
Japan's military is known for its advanced technology and training. The JSDF participates in international peacekeeping missions and humanitarian efforts, reflecting Japan's commitment to global stability. Despite its limited offensive capabilities, the Japanese Military plays a crucial role in regional security, particularly in response to threats from neighboring countries.
