Jamarat
Jamarat refers to three stone pillars located in Mina, near Mecca, Saudi Arabia. These pillars symbolize the places where the Prophet Ibrahim is believed to have rejected the temptations of the devil. During the annual Hajj pilgrimage, millions of Muslims throw pebbles at these pillars as a ritual known as the "stoning of the devil."
The stoning ritual occurs on the 10th to 13th days of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar. This act represents the rejection of evil and is a significant part of the Hajj, which is one of the five pillars of Islam.
