Jalal Al-e Ahmad
Jalal Al-e Ahmad was an influential Iranian writer and intellectual, born in 1923 and passing away in 1969. He is best known for his critiques of Westernization and modernization in Iran, particularly through his seminal work, Gharbzadegi (or "Westoxification"). Al-e Ahmad's writings often explored the cultural and social impacts of Western influence on Iranian society.
