Jørn Utzon
Jørn Utzon was a Danish architect best known for designing the iconic Sydney Opera House in Australia. Born on April 9, 1918, in Copenhagen, he studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His innovative use of concrete shells and unique design elements made the Opera House a symbol of modern architecture.
Utzon's work earned him numerous awards, including the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 2003. Despite facing challenges during the construction of the Opera House, his vision and creativity left a lasting impact on architecture worldwide.
