Itimad-ud-Daula
Itimad-ud-Daula was a prominent figure in the Mughal Empire, serving as the chief minister to Emperor Jahangir. He is best known for being the father of Nur Jahan, the emperor's favorite wife. His contributions to the empire included significant administrative reforms and the promotion of arts and culture.
The Itimad-ud-Daula's Tomb, located in Agra, India, is a notable architectural masterpiece built between 1622 and 1628. Often referred to as the "Baby Taj," it is made of white marble and adorned with intricate inlay work. This tomb is considered a precursor to the more famous Taj Mahal, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the Mughal era.
