Itamar Franco
Itamar Franco was a Brazilian politician who served as the President of Brazil from 1992 to 1994. He initially became president after the impeachment of Fernando Collor de Mello. Franco was known for his moderate policies and efforts to stabilize the Brazilian economy during a time of hyperinflation.
Before his presidency, Franco held various political positions, including Governor of Minas Gerais. He was a member of the Brazilian Democratic Movement Party and played a significant role in Brazilian politics throughout his career, advocating for social and economic reforms. Franco passed away in 2021.
