Israeli President
The Israeli President is the head of state of Israel, a position that is largely ceremonial. The President represents the country in diplomatic matters and performs various formal duties, such as signing laws and appointing the Prime Minister, who is the head of government. The President is elected by the Knesset, Israel's parliament, for a single seven-year term.
The role of the President is to promote unity and serve as a moral authority in Israeli society. While the President has limited powers compared to the Prime Minister, they play an important role in fostering dialogue and cooperation among different communities within Israel.
