Israeli Government
The Israeli Government is a parliamentary democracy, meaning that the government is elected by the people and is responsible to the parliament, known as the Knesset. The Knesset has 120 members who are elected through a system of proportional representation, allowing for a diverse range of political parties.
The head of the government is the Prime Minister, who is usually the leader of the party that gains the most seats in the Knesset. The government is responsible for making laws, managing public services, and conducting foreign relations, while the President serves a largely ceremonial role.
