Islamic theology
Islamic theology, known as Ilahiyat, is the study of the nature of God (Allah) and the principles of the Islamic faith. It explores key concepts such as tawhid (the oneness of God), prophethood, and the afterlife. Scholars analyze the teachings found in the Qur'an and the Hadith to understand and explain these beliefs.
Theology in Islam also addresses the relationship between God and humanity, emphasizing moral and ethical conduct. Different schools of thought, such as Ash'arism and Maturidism, offer various interpretations of theological concepts, contributing to a rich and diverse understanding of faith within the Muslim community.
