Islamic seminary
An Islamic seminary, known as a madrasah, is an educational institution focused on the study of Islamic theology, law, and other religious subjects. These seminaries play a crucial role in training scholars, known as ulama, who interpret and teach Islamic teachings and principles.
Students at an Islamic seminary engage in rigorous study of the Qur'an, Hadith, and various branches of Islamic jurisprudence. The curriculum often includes Arabic language studies, philosophy, and ethics, preparing students for roles as religious leaders, teachers, or community activists within the Muslim community.
