Iskandar (Alexander)
Iskandar, also known as Alexander the Great, was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia and one of history's most successful military commanders. Born in 356 BC, he became king at the age of 20 and embarked on a series of campaigns that created one of the largest empires of the ancient world, stretching from Greece to northwest India.
His conquests included the defeat of the Persian Empire and the founding of several cities, many named Alexandria. Iskandar's legacy includes the spread of Hellenistic culture, which blended Greek and Eastern influences, significantly impacting the regions he conquered and shaping the course of history.
