Iraqi flag
The Iraqi flag consists of three horizontal stripes: red at the top, white in the middle, and black at the bottom. In the center of the white stripe, there are three green stars arranged in a horizontal line, symbolizing unity among the Arab nations. The flag's colors represent the pan-Arab colors, which are significant in the region's history.
Adopted in 2008, the current design features the phrase "Allahu Akbar" (God is the Greatest) in Arabic script, written in green. The Iraqi flag has undergone several changes since its first adoption in 1921, reflecting the country's political and social transformations.
