Interwar
The "Interwar" period refers to the time between the end of World War I in 1918 and the beginning of World War II in 1939. This era was marked by significant political, social, and economic changes across the globe. Many countries faced challenges such as economic instability, the rise of totalitarian regimes, and the effects of the Great Depression.
During the Interwar years, various movements emerged, including Fascism in Italy under Benito Mussolini and Nazism in Germany led by Adolf Hitler. The League of Nations was established in an attempt to promote peace and prevent future conflicts, but it struggled to maintain order and address the growing tensions that ultimately led to the outbreak of World War II.
