International Softball Federation
The International Softball Federation (ISF) is the global governing body for the sport of softball. Established in 1952, the ISF oversees international competitions and promotes the development of the sport worldwide. It is responsible for setting the rules and regulations that govern softball play and organizes events such as the Softball World Championship.
In 2013, the ISF merged with the International Baseball Federation to form the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), which now governs both sports. The ISF's legacy continues through the WBSC, which aims to enhance the popularity and accessibility of softball and baseball globally.
