Olympic Softball
Olympic Softball is a team sport played at the Summer Olympic Games, featuring two teams of nine players each. The game is played on a diamond-shaped field, with a pitcher's mound and bases. Teams take turns batting and fielding, aiming to score runs by hitting a ball and running around the bases.
The sport is governed by the World Baseball Softball Confederation and has been included in the Olympics since 1996, with a break from 2008 to 2016. It returned to the Olympics in 2020, showcasing the skills of athletes from around the world.
