International Coconut Community
The International Coconut Community (ICC) is an intergovernmental organization established in 1969 to promote the global coconut industry. It aims to enhance the production, processing, and marketing of coconuts and coconut products. The ICC serves as a platform for member countries to collaborate on research, share best practices, and develop policies that support sustainable coconut farming.
The ICC comprises member countries that are major producers of coconuts, including Indonesia, Philippines, and India. The organization also works to improve the livelihoods of coconut farmers and promote the health benefits of coconut products, contributing to economic development in coconut-growing regions.
