Inkjet Inks
Inkjet inks are liquid substances used in inkjet printers to produce images and text on paper. They are typically composed of water, colorants (dyes or pigments), and other additives that enhance performance, such as surfactants and preservatives. The inks are designed to flow smoothly through the printer's nozzles and dry quickly on the paper.
There are two main types of inkjet inks: dye-based inks and pigment-based inks. Dye-based inks are known for their vibrant colors and are often used for photo printing, while pigment-based inks are more resistant to fading and water, making them suitable for archival purposes. Each type has its advantages depending on the intended use.
