Ingrid of Denmark was born on January 28, 1910, in Stockholm, Sweden. She was the daughter of Prince Carl of Sweden and Princess Ingeborg of Sweden. Ingrid became the Queen of Denmark when she married King Frederick IX in 1935. Together, they had three daughters: Princess Margrethe, Princess Benedikte, and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece.
