Princess Benedikte is a member of the Danish royal family, born on April 29, 1944. She is the younger sister of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and the daughter of King Frederick IX and Queen Ingrid. Benedikte has spent much of her life in Denmark and has been involved in various charitable activities and organizations. She married Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg in 1968, and they had three children: Princess Alexandra, Count Michael, and Countess Anne. After her husband's passing in 2017, Princess Benedikte continues to represent the royal family at official events and supports numerous cultural and social causes.
