Infante Don Luis
Infante Don Luis was a Spanish royal born on June 25, 1727, as the younger brother of King Carlos III of Spain. He was known for his interest in the arts and sciences, as well as his efforts to promote education and culture in Spain. Despite his royal status, he lived much of his life in relative obscurity.
Don Luis was also notable for his political ambitions, which often put him at odds with the Spanish court. He sought to reform the government and improve the lives of the common people. His life ended on August 7, 1785, leaving behind a complex legacy.
