Infante Carlos
Infante Carlos, also known as Carlos María Isidro de Borbón, was a Spanish royal born on January 29, 1788. He was the younger brother of King Ferdinand VII of Spain and a key figure in the Carlist Wars, which were a series of civil wars in Spain during the 19th century. Carlos claimed the Spanish throne based on his belief that he had a stronger right to it than his brother.
Carlos was a supporter of traditionalist and conservative values, opposing the liberal movements of his time. His claim to the throne led to significant political conflict, resulting in the establishment of the Carlist movement, which sought to promote his lineage and restore the absolute monarchy in Spain. He died on March 10, 1855, in France.
