Indo-Pakistani War
The Indo-Pakistani War refers to a series of conflicts between India and Pakistan that began shortly after both countries gained independence in 1947. The primary cause of these wars has been territorial disputes, particularly over the region of Kashmir. The first major conflict occurred in 1947-1948, leading to a ceasefire and the establishment of the Line of Control.
Subsequent wars took place in 1965 and 1971, with the latter resulting in the independence of Bangladesh from Pakistan. These wars have significantly shaped the political landscape of South Asia and continue to influence relations between the two nations today.
