Indian National Space Administration
The Indian National Space Administration, known as ISRO, is the space agency of the Government of India. Established in 1969, its primary goal is to harness space technology for national development while pursuing space science research and planetary exploration.
ISRO has achieved significant milestones, including the successful launch of satellites for communication, weather forecasting, and navigation. It is also known for its cost-effective missions, such as the Mars Orbiter Mission, which made India the first Asian nation to reach Mars orbit and the fourth space agency globally to do so.
