Indian Flag
The Indian Flag, also known as the Tiranga, features three horizontal stripes of saffron, white, and green. The saffron at the top represents courage and sacrifice, the white in the middle symbolizes peace and truth, and the green at the bottom stands for faith and chivalry. In the center of the white stripe is a navy blue Ashoka Chakra, which has 24 spokes and represents the eternal wheel of law.
Adopted on July 22, 1947, the Indian Flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya. It is a symbol of India's independence and unity, reflecting the country's diverse culture and heritage. The flag is hoisted on national holidays and important events, instilling a sense of pride among citizens.
