Imam Husayn was the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad and the son of Imam Ali and Fatimah. He is a significant figure in Islam, particularly in Shia Islam, where he is revered as the third Imam. Born in 626 CE in Medina, he is known for his strong principles and commitment to justice.
Husayn is best known for his role in the Battle of Karbala in 680 CE, where he and his followers were martyred while standing against the tyranny of Yazid, the Umayyad caliph.
