Igman
Igman is a mountain located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, part of the Dinaric Alps. It rises to an elevation of 1,502 meters (4,928 feet) and is situated near the city of Sarajevo. The mountain is known for its natural beauty, featuring lush forests and diverse wildlife, making it a popular destination for outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing.
The Igman area played a significant role during the Bosnian War in the 1990s, serving as a strategic location. Today, it is also recognized for its historical significance, with remnants of wartime fortifications and memorials that commemorate the events that took place there.
