Hyderabad State
Hyderabad State was a princely state in India during the British Raj, established in the 18th century. It was ruled by the Nizam, who was one of the wealthiest individuals in the world at the time. The state was known for its rich culture, historical monuments, and the famous Hyderabadi Biryani.
In 1948, after India gained independence, Hyderabad State was integrated into the Indian Union. The state was officially dissolved in 1956, leading to the formation of the modern-day Telangana and parts of Andhra Pradesh. Today, Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana and a major center for technology and education.
