Hungarian minority
The term "Hungarian minority" refers to ethnic Hungarians living outside of Hungary, primarily in neighboring countries such as Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, and Ukraine. These communities often maintain their cultural identity through language, traditions, and social organizations, despite being part of different nation-states.
Hungarian minorities may face various challenges, including issues related to language rights, education, and political representation. Many of these communities have established cultural institutions and participate in local governance to advocate for their rights and preserve their heritage, contributing to the multicultural fabric of their respective countries.
