Human Births
Human births occur when a baby is delivered from the mother's womb, marking the end of pregnancy. This process typically takes about nine months, during which the fetus develops inside the uterus. Birth can happen through vaginal delivery or via a surgical procedure known as a cesarean section.
During labor, the mother's body undergoes various changes, including contractions that help push the baby out. Once the baby is born, it is usually assessed for health and given immediate care. The newborn is often placed on the mother's chest for skin-to-skin contact, promoting bonding and breastfeeding.
