Hugh V
Hugh V was a historical figure who served as the Duke of Burgundy from 1361 until his death in 1363. He was born in 1347 and was the son of Philip the Bold, the first Duke of Burgundy. Hugh V's reign was brief, and he was known for his efforts to strengthen the power and influence of the Burgundian state during a time of political instability in France.
Despite his short time in power, Hugh V's legacy continued through his family. He was part of the Valois dynasty, which played a significant role in the history of France. His descendants would later become prominent figures in European politics, particularly during the Hundred Years' War.
