House wren
The House wren is a small, energetic bird commonly found in North America. It measures about 4 to 5 inches in length and has a brown, streaked plumage that helps it blend into its surroundings. House wrens are known for their cheerful, bubbling songs and are often seen flitting about in gardens, parks, and wooded areas.
These birds are cavity-nesters, often using old nests of other birds or natural crevices to raise their young. They typically lay 5 to 8 eggs, which hatch after about two weeks. House wrens are insectivorous, feeding on a variety of insects and spiders, making them beneficial for pest control.
