Pacific Wren
The Pacific Wren is a small songbird found primarily in the western regions of North America. It is known for its rich, complex songs and distinctive brown plumage, which helps it blend into its forest habitat. This bird typically inhabits dense underbrush, where it forages for insects and other small invertebrates.
Measuring about 4.5 to 5 inches in length, the Pacific Wren has a short tail and a slightly curved bill. It is often confused with the similar-looking Winter Wren, but the Pacific Wren is generally larger and has a more robust body. These birds are non-migratory and can be found year-round in their preferred habitats.
