Hoover Tower
Hoover Tower is a prominent landmark located on the campus of Stanford University in California. Standing at 285 feet tall, it was completed in 1941 and is named after Herbert Hoover, the 31st President of the United States and a Stanford alumnus. The tower houses the Hoover Institution, a public policy research center that focuses on economics, politics, and history.
Visitors can access an observation deck at the top of the tower, offering panoramic views of the university and surrounding areas. The structure is designed in the Romanesque architectural style and features a carillon with 48 bells, which chime regularly, adding to its historical significance.
