Holy Alliance
The Holy Alliance was a coalition formed in 1815 after the defeat of Napoleon. It was initiated by the leaders of three major powers: Russia, Austria, and Prussia. The alliance aimed to promote Christian values and maintain peace in Europe by working together to suppress revolutionary movements and uphold monarchies.
The agreement was based on the principles of Christianity and sought to create a united front against liberalism and nationalism. Although it was primarily a diplomatic arrangement, the Holy Alliance influenced European politics for several decades, reflecting the conservative order established after the Congress of Vienna.
