Hogweed
Hogweed is a large, flowering plant belonging to the Apiaceae family. It can grow up to 14 feet tall and features broad leaves and clusters of white flowers. There are several species, with Giant Hogweed being the most well-known for its size and potential danger.
Hogweed is native to Asia and Europe but has spread to parts of North America. Its sap can cause severe skin reactions when exposed to sunlight, leading to burns and blisters. Due to its invasive nature, it can outcompete native plants, disrupting local ecosystems.
