Hkakabo Razi National Park
Hkakabo Razi National Park is located in northern Myanmar, near the border with India. Established in 1996, it covers an area of approximately 3,800 square kilometers, making it one of the largest protected areas in the country. The park is home to Hkakabo Razi, the highest peak in Southeast Asia, which rises to 5,881 meters.
The park features diverse ecosystems, including lush forests, alpine meadows, and unique wildlife. It is a habitat for various endangered species, such as the Burmese tiger and the Asian black bear. The park also plays a crucial role in conserving the region's biodiversity and natural resources.
