Hithlum
Hithlum is a fictional region in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, primarily featured in his works like "The Silmarillion." It is located in the northwestern part of Middle-earth, bordered by the Ered Wethrin mountain range to the south and the Helcaraxë ice bridge to the north. Hithlum is known for its cold climate and rugged terrain, making it a challenging place to inhabit.
The region is significant as the homeland of the Noldor Elves, particularly the house of Fëanor. It is also the setting for key events in the history of the Elves, including the exile of the Noldor and their struggles against the dark lord Morgoth.
