The Hispania Racing Team, also known as HRT, was a Spanish Formula One team that competed in the FIA Formula One World Championship. Founded in 2009, the team aimed to promote Spanish motorsport and was one of the new teams introduced during the 2010 season. HRT participated in Formula One until 2012, facing challenges such as financial difficulties and performance issues. Despite these obstacles, the team made its mark by being the first Spanish team in F1, contributing to the growth of motorsport in Spain. The team ceased operations in 2013.
