Hindu god Shiva
Hindu god Shiva is one of the principal deities in Hinduism, known as the "Destroyer" within the holy trinity, or Trimurti, which also includes Brahma the creator and Vishnu the preserver. He is often depicted with a third eye, symbolizing wisdom and insight, and is associated with meditation, asceticism, and the arts.
Shiva is commonly represented in the form of a lingam, a symbol of divine energy and creation. He is also known for his blue throat, a result of consuming poison during the churning of the ocean, an event in Hindu mythology called Samudra Manthan.
